Pickup: VBS is Monday, June 15th through Friday, June 19th from 8:00AM until 12:00PM each day!

Carline Procedures: We will be using the St. Cecilia carline for dismissal, to access the carline, turn onto Railroad Avenue. Cars will then line up in a single line on the LEFT shoulder on Railroad Avenue. DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS. And continue in a SINGLE line closest to the building once in the driveway.

The official Sacred Heart VBS car sign included in this packet must be VISIBLE. Keep it visible until your child is in the vehicle. The best way to display the sign is by attaching it to the passenger side visor or hanging it by a coat hanger on the rear-view mirror.

Please refrain from using your cell phone while in the car line and remain in your vehicle at all times. If your child needs additional assistance buckling the seat belt, you may park in front of the church to assist them. Please do not hold up the car line.

What to Wear: We invite your child to participate in these optional themed dress-up days throughout VBS.

• God is our Creator: Come dressed as anything God created, the more creative the better! Think jungle animals, ocean creatures, flowers, sunshine, bugs, trees, clouds, or even a wild mix of colors and patterns. Today we celebrate the beauty and diversity of God’s creation and remember that each of us is wonderfully made.

• God Knows Everything: Grab your explorer gear for Safari Day! Safari hats, binoculars, maps, vests, compasses, and adventure outfits are all welcome. Explorers are always discovering new things, but God already sees the whole map and knows us completely.

• God is Our Safe Place: It’s Spirit Day! Wear your crew color loud and proud as we celebrate that God gives us a place to belong.

• God is Love: Wear your VBS t-shirt as we celebrate the love that unites us all. God’s love brings us together as one family and reminds us that we are never alone.

• God is Forever: Get ready for our Glow Party! Wear black clothes with neon accessories, glow sticks, glow paint, or anything that shines bright. God’s love and presence never end. His light keeps shining, even in the darkness!
