Entrance Hymn: Praise to the Lord

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the king of creation! O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation! Come, all who hear: Now to his altar draw near, joining in glad adoration!

Praise to the Lord, who shall prosper our work and defend us; Surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend us. Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, who with his love will befriend us.

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in us adore him! All that has life and breath come now with praises before him! Let the “Amen” sound from his people again, now as we worship before him!

Offertory Hymn: Only This I Want

(Refrain) Only this I want: but to know the Lord, and to bear his cross, so to wear the crown he wore.

All but this is loss, worthless refuse to me, for to gain the Lord is to gain all I need. (To Refrain)

I will run the race; I will fight the good fight, so to win the prize of the kingdom of my Lord. (To Refrain)

Let your heart be glad, always glad in the Lord, so to shine like stars in the darkness of the night. (To Refrain)

Communion Hymn: One Love Released

(Refrain) One bread one body, one cup, one call, one faith, one Spirit present in us all. One prayer, one blessing, one hope, one peace, one church, one people, one love released.

Is not this bread we share, the body of our Lord? Is not this wine we drink, the blood of Christ out-poured? (To refrain)

I am the bread of life, eat and you shall live. To those who share this meal, my strength I’ll always give. (To refrain)

I am the living bread, as manna from the sky. This bread I give to you, that you may never die. (To refrain)

No one will come to me, unless our God has led. And I shall raise them up, raise them from the dead. (To refrain)

Recessional Hymn: For the Healing of the Nations

For the healing of the nations, Lord, we pray with one accord. For a just and equal sharing of the things that earth affords. To a life of love and action help us rise and pledge our word.

Lead us now, Lord, into freedom, from despair your world release; that redeemed from war and hatred, all may come and go in peace. Show us how through care and goodness fear will die and hope increase.

You, creator God, have written your great name on humankind; For our growing in your likeness bring the life of Christ to mind: That by our response and service Earth its destiny may find.
