Song Sheet October 6th

Entrance Hymn: From All That Dwell Below the Skies

From all that dwell below the skies, let the Creator’s praise arise; Let the Redeemer’s name be sung, through every land by every tongue.

Eternal are thy mercies, Lord; Eternal truth attends thy word: Thy praise shall sound from shore to shore, till suns shall rise and set no more.

Your lofty themes, ye mortals, bring; In songs of praise divinely sing; The great salvation loud proclaim, and shout for joy the Savior’s name.

In every land begin the song; To every land the strains belong; In cheerful sounds all voices raise, and fill the world with loudest praise.

Offertory Hymn: Love Goes On

Love is patient, love is kind, never ending, never ending; slow to anger, rich in mercy, love goes on beyond all time.

Love is faithful, love is true, ever joyful and forgiving; love endures when life is over, love is old and love is new.

Love alone has shaped our soul, and our hearts are always restless until love becomes our purpose, new creation to unfold.

Love our journey, love our goal. Though our faith may move the mountains, love alone can heal the broken; only love will make us whole.

Love, our Savior’s one command: “Love the way that I have loved you,” with a towel and a basin, washing feet with servant hands.

There are three gifts that remain when all other things have perished. Only faith, hope, love enduring, and the greatest gift is love.

Communion Hymn: One Love Released

(Refrain) One bread one body, one cup, one call, one faith, one Spirit present in us all. One prayer, one blessing, one hope, one peace, one church, one people, one love released.

Is not this bread we share, the body of our Lord? Is not this wine we drink, the blood of Christ out-poured? (To refrain)

I am the bread of life, eat and you shall live. To those who share this meal, my strength I’ll always give. (To refrain)

I am the living bread, as manna from the sky. This bread I give to you, that you may never die. (To refrain)

No one will come to me, unless our God has led. And I shall raise them up, raise them from the dead. (To refrain)

Recessional Hymn: Now Thank We All Our God

Now thank we all our God with heart, and hands and voices, who wondrous things hath done, in whom his world rejoices; Who, from our mother’s arms hath blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.

O may this gracious God through all our life be near us, with ever joyful hearts and blessed peace to cheer us; Preserve us in his grace, and guide us in distress, and free us from all sin, till heaven we possess.

All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given, the Son, and Spirit blest, who reigns in highest heaven, Eternal, Triune God, whom earth and heaven adore; For thus it was, is now, and shall be, evermore.
