Entrance Hymn: Christians Let Us Love One Another
Christians let us love one another as we share the true living bread. Jesus is our God and our brother; with his flesh and blood we are fed.
(Refrain)Everyone who lives is born of God Jesus is our life, God is love.
We who break this bread are one body, we who share this cup are all one. Children of our Father in heaven, we are heirs of God’s only Son. (To Refrain)
We who eat and drink at this table die and rise again with our Lord. Drawing from our rock living water giv’n to all who thirst for accord. (To Refrain)
On the path of life we may falter, earthly food alone leaves us weak; Always you invite from the altar, “Hungry souls their food here must seek.” (To Refrain)
Offertory Hymn: I Know That My Redeemer Lives
I know that my redeemer lives, the one who calls me home. I long to see God face to face, to see with my own eyes.
(Refrain) I know that my Redeemer lives, that I shall rise again.I know that my Redeemer lives, that I shall rise again.
I know that I shall one day see the goodness of the Lord, when God will wipe away our tears, and death will be no more. (To Refrain)
The last day I shall rise again, shall be remade like God. My home shall be by God’s own side, the dying, rising Lord. (To Refrain)
Communion Hymn: Ubi Caritas
(Refrain) Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est. Ubi caritas et amor, Deus ibi est
We gather together in the love of Christ; let each one be glad in him and rejoice. Our God is alive, the God of love is near; so love one another with heart sincere. (To Refrain)
We, the many become one body as the Spirit binds, and we seek to be one in Christ and one in heart and mind. Let all quarrels, all division, all our conflict cease; then will Christ truly dwell among us as our Lord of Peace. (To Refrain)
Then, joined with the blessed, filled with hope and grace, dear Lord, in great glory may we see your face. Our joy none can measure, joy that knows no end, resounding from endless age to age. Amen. (To Refrain)
Recessional Hymn: Now The Green Blade Rises
Now the green blade rises from the buried grain, Wheat that in dark earth many days has lain; Love lives again, that with the dead has been: Love is come again like wheat arising green.
In the grave they laid him, love by hatred slain, Thinking that he would never wake again, Laid in the earth like grain that sleeps unseen: Love is come again like wheat arising green.
Forth he came at Easter, like the risen grain, He that for three days in the grave had lain; Raised from the dead, my living Lord is seen: Love is come again like wheat arising green.
When our hearts are wintry, grieving, or in pain, Your touch can calls us back to life again, Fields of our hearts that dead and bare have been: Love is come again like wheat arising green.
