Song Sheet August 4th

Entrance Hymn: All Creatures of Our God and King

All creatures of our God and King, lift up your voices, let us sing: Alleluia! Alleluia! Bright burning sun with golden beams, soft silver moon that gently gleams, O praise him! O praise him! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Great rushing winds who are so strong, You clouds above that sail along, O praise him! Alleluia! Fair rising morn, with praise rejoice, stars nightly shining, find a voice, O praise him! O praise him! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Swift flowing water, pure and clear, make music for your Lord to hear, Alleluia! Alleluia! Fire so intense and fiercely bright, who gives to us both warmth and light, O praise him! O praise him! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Offertory Hymn: I am the Bread of Life

I am the Bread of life, He who comes to Me shall not hunger, and who believes in Me shall not thirst. No one can come to Me unless the Father beckons.

(Refrain) And I will raise you up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.

The bread that I will give is My flesh for the life of the world, and he you eat of this bread,

you shall live fo ever, you shall live forever. (To Refrain)

Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man and drink of His blood, and drink of His blood,

You shall not have life within you. (To Refrain)

I am the Resurrection, I am the Life. If you believe in Me, even though you die, you shall live forever. (To Refrain)

Yes, Lord, we believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God who has come into the world.

(To Refrain)

Communion Hymn: Gift of Finest Wheat

(Refrain) You satisfy the hungry heart, with gift of finest wheat, Come give to us, O Saving Lord, The Bread of Life to eat.

As when the shepherd calls his sheep, they know and heed his voice, so when you call your family Lord, we follow and rejoice. (To refrain)

With joyful lips, we sing to you, our praise and gratitude. That you should count us worthy Lord to share this Heavenly food. (To refrain)

Is not the cup we bless and share, the blood of Christ outpoured? Do not one cup, one loaf declare, our oneness in the Lord? (To refrain)

The mystery of your presence, Lord, No mortal tongue can tell: Whom all the world can not contain comes in our hearts to dwell. (To refrain)

You give yourself to us, O Lord: Then selfless let us be, To serve each other in your name in truth and charity.(To Refrain)

Recessional Hymn: Sent Forth By God’s Blessing

Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing, the people of God from his dwelling take leave. God’s sacrifice ended, O now be extended, the fruits of this Mass in all hearts who believe. The seed of Christ’s teaching, our inner souls reaching, shall blossom in action for God and for all. His grace shall incite us, his love shall unite us to further God’s kingdom and answer his call.

With praise and thanksgiving, to God who is living, the tasks of our everyday life we embrace. Our faith ever sharing, in love ever caring, we claim as our neighbor all those of each race. One bread that has fed us, one light that has led us; unite us as one in his life that we share. Then may all the living with praise and thanksgiving give honor to Christ and his name that we bear.
