If you have been through Freedom and the Freedom retreat and desire deeper healing, this book is the next step. "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest"--Jesus, Matt 11:28

In Jesus the Bridegroom, Brant Pitre once again taps into the wells of Jewish Scripture and tradition and unlocks the secrets of what is arguably the most well-known symbol of the Christian faith: the cross of Christ. In this thrilling exploration, Pitre shows how the suffering and death of Jesus was far more than a tragic Roman execution. Instead, the Passion of Christ was the fulfillment of ancient Jewish prophecies of a wedding, when the God of the universe would wed himself to humankind in an everlasting nuptial covenant.

The marvelous treasures of the Catholic Faith—the Eucharist, Mary, the saints, and the Creed—are all centered on a single figure: Jesus Christ. Jesus is more than a historical or theological figure. He is our Savior, our Redeemer, our Lord, and our God. While many of us already know a lot about him, how well can we say we really know him? Filmed on location in the Holy Land, Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life is a new and fresh look at Jesus—who he is, what he is really like, what he taught, and what he did for our salvation. This encounter with Christ will inspire and empower you to center your entire life on him as you come to know and love him in an ever-deeper and more intimate way.

Loneliness is deadly. We know this psychologically and spiritually. Sin wants us to be alone, and it often feels like today's world is tailor-made to keep us that way.
This book will explain why God made us to experience deep friendship and how we can cultivate them despite a culture of busyness, disconnection, and fear of vulnerability.Through personal stories, research, and biblical wisdom, we will learn of God's design for "covenant friendships" and how loneliness points to our God-given needs, why vulnerability is the beginning of real friendship, how to deepen the friendships we already have and key habits that create a lifestyle of friendship.
Leave behind loneliness and build the life of deep connection you long for.

In a generation plagued by fatherlessness, fear, and indecision, men need a mentor. They need a man who models masculine strength and understands his God-given duty to lay down his life for his family, to provide for their every need, to protect them, to exemplify a life of virtue. St. Joseph is that man.
By embarking on a tour of the Litany of St. Joseph, each chapter explores the power and freedom virtue brings to the lives of ordinary men trying to lead their families to heaven, virtues like justice, chastity, prudence, fortitude, faithfulness, and others.

Do you find it easy to pray? Do you hear God’s voice in your daily life and know how to respond? For most of us the answer is no, and we struggle to calm our minds and even find a few minutes to set aside to pray. The good news is that you can overcome these difficulties. The Oremus program teaches the essentials of an effective and fruitful prayer life. Over eight weeks we will learn how God speaks to us, even in the smallest encounters. Following Church Tradition and the wisdom of the saints, you will learn to how to express yourself to God in prayer and how to hear his voice.

It is the crescendo of the entire story of salvation.

Sometimes life and God’s plan don’t make sense and we end up feeling hurt and angry.
In Seriously, God?, Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran explore the denial, doubt, and betrayal we experience when we face hardship, pain, and grief, and they encourage us to lean into our feelings and to take each circumstance as a chance to learn more about God.
For anyone who has battled suffering, walked away from faith under the pressure of crushing doubt, never felt safe giving faith a chance, or cared about someone who struggles with these realities, this book treats the problems of suffering and evil not as an argument to be overcome but as an invitation to a deeper faith.

St. Pio of Pietrelcina had a deep devotion to the Christ Child. The man more commonly known as Padre Pio also possessed extraordinary and unique mystical gifts: Jesus often came to him in the form of a little child.
In Welcoming the Christ Child with Padre Pio, stories about the saint known for his stigmata and ability to bilocate are woven with scripture and prayer to help you experience Advent—Padre Pio’s favorite season—with greater hope and joy.
Each day of Advent you will read an account from someone who knew Padre Pio, a quotation from Padre Pio, a short story about the saint, a scripture reflection, and prayer to help you follow this extraordinary saint’s example and welcome the Christ Child into your home and heart during Advent.

What do Eve, Ester, Sarah & Hannah have in common? The holy women of the Old Testament lived in different eras and struggled in different ways. But many shared a God-given mission - they were "types" of Our Lady. God wove their stories into his great story of salvation in an amazing way as their lives pointed forward to the Mother of God. As we reflect on their examples and how they can apply to our own lives with God, we are drawn into the heart of our Mother.
Whispers of Mary teaches profound lessons from the women of the Old Testament and inspires us to grow closer to Mary.

Dr. Brant Pitre sheds light on an often-overlooked aspect of marriage and family life: the spiritual attack on the family that has been going on since the beginning of human history. According to the book of Genesis, Satan has always attempted to destroy the family by sowing seeds of selfishness, distrust, accusation, anger, and even violence. In this remarkable and unique presentation, you will learn about:
• Satan’s attack on the family in the book of Genesis
• The Fall of Adam and Eve and its effects on their family and our families
• Why the Devil is called “the Accuser” (Rev 12:10) and the destructive power of blame
• Tobias and Sarah in the book of Tobit as a New Adam and New Eve, and how they save their marriage by responding to spiritual attack differently than Adam and Eve
• Spousal Prayer and the spiritual well-being of the family• The Family as a “Domestic Church” in the writings of Saint Paul
• The Christian Family and Spiritual Warfare in Ephesians 5-6
We will learn practical measures that any family can take so that the Christian family in the modern world might truly be a “Domestic Church” and contribute to the sanctification of the world and human society.

This group will “adopt” a client who is currently in our sheltering program and is awaiting a safe and stable housing placement. Groups will gather all essential furniture and supplies necessary for the client’s move-in. When a housing match is made, your group will be given information of address and a window of dates in which they can secretly set up the home for the client to move in. Groups will be placed in a rotating order to allow ample time to prepare for the execution of the move-in.
Click the resource link to see more information about homeless to housewarmed, is all about.
We will meet one time before the event to go over what to expect and to review the list and start preparing to furnish a small apartment or home. Without our help, this person would be moving into an empty space. Our hopes is to get them a jumpstart on their new life and to make them feel sacred. This event can be for the whole family if you’d like.Contact: Lauren Faulk lauren@holytravels.org
